Case study: Stanborough Press

The Stanborough Press Ltd is a specialist publishing company based in Grantham, that prints books and magazines.

Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire has supported The Stanborough Press in making the change to LED lighting, helping their business to become more energy efficient by up to 65%.

The new LED lights, which utilise PIRs and Daylight Harvesting, have been installed in the warehouse and dispatch areas, making these spaces brighter and safer to work in, whilst using less energy.

Their energy-saving project is set to see astonishing savings of approximately £57,900 over the next 10 years, allowing for investment elsewhere. This simple and easy investment will be paid off within 1 year.

“We were very grateful to Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire for their support during this project of ours. We are a charitable organisation, so money is always tight, meaning that the financial assistance we received from Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire was very welcome.”

The Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire programme awarded a 38% grant of £5,231 towards The Stanborough Press energy-saving project.

The Stanborough Press Ltd is one of many businesses in the Greater Lincolnshire area benefiting from the Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire programme. If you are looking to save money on your energy bills, get in touch today to see if your business is eligible.
