Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire is a project giving the opportunity for businesses to see how they can help them get smarter with their energy use for the benefit of the environment and to save money.

This could include the installation of a new boiler or ultra-low energy lighting with the help of a grant from the Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire fund.

Knowledge is power, and the programme offers business leaders a 12 hour energy education and training programme, plus up to £500 worth of energy saving products on completion.

Businesses with higher energy usage can also receive energy efficiency reviews with the aim of providing dedicated energy advice and specialised help, to develop energy saving plans from university partners.

To find out more, visit our event’s page, each event will provide info on how to get involved and what we can do to help benefit your business. Please also find some additional information below in the attached PDF documents.

Procurement

As part of any grant application to SEGL you will need to let us know the supplier that will be implementing your energy efficiency project. Whilst you are free to choose your own supplier, you will need to ensure you follow the required procurement process as set out by the programme funder, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The SEGL team can provide more information on what process you need to follow depending on the size and nature of your project.

Please note SEGL has no links with any suppliers of energy efficiency solutions and does not utilise any kind of preferred supplier list. If a potential supplier advises you that they are part of, or working with or on behalf of SEGL please notify the programme team by emailing smartenergy@nelincs.gov.uk
